Let us help you find support

What can we help with? Resource Specialists can help you explore questions about:

  • Support at home, including in-home care, home repairs, and safety
  • Food and everyday needs, including meals and food assistance
  • Housing and care options, from affordable housing to assisted living
  • Transportation to appointments and activities
  • Benefits and expenses, including heating assistance
  • Support for someone you care for

We can talk by phone, over Zoom, or in person by appointment when needed. If your question involves several of these things, that’s okay. We’ll start with what matters most to you.

“It’s nice to know I have an entire group of people helping me. They make me feel like there’s hope. The team of specialists has given me companionship and support during a time when I thought no one cared. AgeMaine is a hand in the darkness. They saved me. They literally saved my life.”

Plan ahead with options counseling

Sometimes the question isn’t what you need today. It’s how to keep living where you want to live as your needs change. Options Counseling helps you plan for the care and services you or a loved one may need to remain at home. Our Resource Specialists provide unbiased information, explain your options, and help you think through next steps as your needs change.
